Large Design Shiny Black Button Gala Paloma 39mm

Why did I call this button Paloma? Because it is soft to the touch like talcum powder and I find it soothing as well as beautiful. It needed a name as sweet as its noble material: milk stone or Galalith. Gala as we call it among buttonmakers is made from milk protein. It is an hypoallergenic, anti-static and biodegradable material. Its natural color is creamy white.

Here the Paloma buttons have been bathed in a beautiful glossy black. They are Art Deco period and new!

These large buttons are neither round nor square. It’s their curved shape that gives them an in-between appearance. Worn on a wool coat or tartan, Paloma buttons will have a crazy style.
