One-of-a-Kind Women’s Belt – Vintage 1970s Design Buckle
This one-of-a-kind women’s belt is an exceptional creation at the crossroads of vintage design, fashion jewellery and contemporary couture craftsmanship. It stands out thanks to its original 1970s buckle, featuring a graphic, sculptural design, carefully restored to reveal the full modernity of its aesthetic.
Typical of 1970s design, the buckle combines translucent resin with deep brown tones and a silver-toned metal frame with architectural lines. Its domed central cabochon and geometric composition evoke Mod, Space Age and Disco Chic influences, hallmarks of an audacious era when accessories became true style statements.
The fawn-brown patent leather strap, made from recycled leathers, has been entirely handcrafted in my Parisian workshop. Its generous width and glossy finish harmonise perfectly with the buckle, enhancing its sculptural character while ensuring a comfortable, structured fit. Each step — cutting, shaping, adjusting and assembly — has been carried out artisanally, giving this belt lasting quality and a strong identity.
