This one-of-a-kind women’s belt is a singular creation at the crossroads of vintage object, fashion jewellery and couture accessory. Its exceptional buckle is crafted from an authentic 1960s telephone dial, carefully restored to give it a new life while preserving its identity and history.
An icon of 20th-century utilitarian design, the circular dial is transformed here into a statement buckle that is at once graphic, playful and unmistakably chic. The original numbers and letters, arranged in a circular layout, evoke the retro-pop and Space Age aesthetics of the 1960s, while adding a bold contemporary twist.
The leather strap, shaped entirely by hand, was designed to dialogue harmoniously with the buckle. Its clean, elegant line enhances the sculptural character of the dial while ensuring a comfortable, structured fit. Each step — cutting, shaping and assembly — has been carried out artisanally, making this belt a unique and durable fashion object.
Worn over a black dress, a tailored suit, a couture coat or a minimalist silhouette, this belt becomes a true focal point, expressing a strong personality and a taste for rare, meaningful pieces.
More than an accessory, this creation is a collector’s piece, born from a high-end upcycling approach, where the past converses with the present through artisanal craftsmanship.
