Today, I take you behind the scenes of a contest, an exciting adventure in the creation of [trendy] buttons and [fashion jewelry] accessories designed for unique and special women: YOU!!! 💕
So let’s go! Let’s discover the Future 2017 Paris Designer contest.
One night, looking at my emails of the day
I read 3 words that made an echo: “Designer of the Future”, a real springboard for entrepreneurial women. A network that propels women entrepreneurship via strong and clear proposals, at least from my point of view, when we talk about know-how, boldness, innovation or responsible economy.
One day, the file of the application arrives
But attention to not rely on the sweetness of this title! Because entrepreneurs = multitasking …but THIS IS NOT THE POINT to tell you about my hectic days, I love them so much! They are just exciting and full of surprising encounters: first, with artisans to conceive and fabric. No VIP treatment here, not at all, just clear and straight comments with lots of respect for the work of each other above all.
Then, we discuss about our passions in common with exquisite and divine clients. And after some weeks: surprise! A second mail with the magic words arrives “Designer of the Future”, including an attachment and a deadline. Then you start sweating and your heart accelerates in a positive way. This first contest, I’m going to do it for BUTTONS PARADISE!
A whole program
I don’t know about you, but when I fill a form or a questionnaire, I like to be sure to understand everything before answering. And I keep asking myself, ‘Did I manage to share and resume the DNA of my brand’? ‘Did I say enough’? And when you even realize at D-72 hours from the deadline, you ended it. Yes, worst than a Hitchcock film! After hours of proofreading by friends, my loves, my file is ready to be sent!
Did you say finalists?
Oh my God, this is like the elections day! First round, more than 400 creators, Second round, 80 participants, Third round: I need to resume my file of 10 pages in 1 page only… uff, not easy at all this last step, but I finally made it and that helps me as well to have a constructive insight about my own activity!
And this is why I am very happy to announce you, that BUTTONS PARADISE was selected on the 16 finalists of the “2017 Paris Designer of the Future”.
