These beautiful buttons come from the renowned Parisian house Trelon-Weldon-Weil. They date back to around 1855. Brand new, they were originally mounted on a card and are available in large quantities.
This French button-maker was a leader in supplying uniform buttons for the French Republic. The celestial buttons feature an airy pattern with wings, giving them a universal appeal.
These are beautiful sewing buttons to elevate a coat or jacket, especially in shades of blue, black, beige, or green.
One point to mention: their metal bath (also known as galvanization) varies slightly between the 22mm button (more golden) and the 16mm button (more matte with a hint of soft pink). This is not an issue if the 16mm button is placed on a sleeve end rather than directly next to a 22mm front-facing button. However, it's always best to inform you of this.
This series of buttons is rare and divine, and above all, so timeless! I absolutely adore it.
